I know that I do most of the consuming and little of the preparing but like to think I make it up in other ways. Largely my wife doesn't want me near the kitchen, still food is a major hassle with busy schedules.
I do most of the cooking now, but once and a while I will get sick of cooking, and he will do it for a couple days a month. I have shown him how to cook anything and everything, so from a man that only knew take-out and ramen, I am pretty proud of him!

My wife does a majority of the cooking. When it's my time to cook, though, I usually just order a pizza. Dunno if any of you have seen that one Carls Jr. commercial on TV with the clueless guy in the grocery store, but that is definitely me.
Usually, my wife does the cooking. The only reason tho is because I get off work at 8 or 9, then have about hour commute home. When we were living in San Jose tho, I usually cooked cause I worked a night shift.
if i had a lady i think it would be cool if she and i cooked together. that's what my bro and his wife do and they have a very happy and successful marriage.
Actually, my husband has taught himself to cook very well. It's just what he decides to put together that scares the heck out of me. So most of the time, I cook.
