I recently updated my GPU loop to a CPU/GPU loop. I started with the following:
-Swiftech 350 Pump /w XSPC Res top
-XSPC RX120 Rad upfront /w an Aerocool 140mm push and Noctua 120mm pull
-EK-FC GTX285 WB on my GTX 285
-back to res/pump
-Primochill 3/8"ID 5/8"OD
-Zalman CNPS 9900led on the CPU
Idle (can't remember load and didn't log them) CPU/GPU was 29/41
Now my new loop in order is the following:
-Swiftech 350 Pump / w XSPC Res top
-XSPC RX120 Rad /w Lian li fan push (2nd intake)
-XSPC RX240 Rad /w 2 Noiseblockers in push (up-exhaust)
-HK 3.0 LT
-EK-FC GTX285 WB
-back to res/pump
-Primochill 3/8" ID 5/8" OD
New idle temps are CPU/GPU 34/39. I have yet to to a load test (my load test is usually just gaming with CoD5 for an hour or so (checking the temps every 30 minutes). Also I still have bubbles in my systems >_< Letting it run with the lid off the res with occasional shaking to get air out. I'm still concerned that my temps are a bit high because my CPU was running cooler on just air. The rads are cool to the touch; Ambient temp is about 24C.
Do these idle temps seem high? Should I reseat the CPU? Should I shake the case more to get all the air bubbles out, or let it run with the cap off and just wait? Also anyone with an HK 3.0, did yours come with the little black splitter installed or does that come with the non 1336 version? I was shaking the block when I first got it and heard something inside moving... I hope it wasn't that piece of plastic now restricting flow. (I was worried about taking apart the block since I had just got it and was still in my car lol)
