Do violent games such as counterstrike and halo cause attitude problems? I know it's very vague, so bear with me... It's hard to explain, but if you understand, please go ahead and answer.

Sure I get pissed off in Battlefield 2 sometimes when bastards take my planes, but I don't take it out on people in real life. The worst I'd do is TK them in-game.

I like it when I get TKed for a plane and then the guy crashes it into the ocean or on the runway.

you only have an attitude problem if you are a bad gamer or are seriously deficient at life. it has nothing to do with the game, really.

counterstrike tends to sour my attitude, but that's probably because I get schooled by thirteen year olds.

lol, at least they aren't as bad as they were from 1993 to about 1997. A new first person shooter would cost $80 and one a couple of years old was $50.

Maybe for some individuals. I think if you were raised to learn the difference between games and reality, playing violent games wouldn't make a difference.

I call shens.

There's no way he would record himself like that.

It probably is Shens but it's still funny as hell. I grew up with a kid like that. We'd play Super Mario Bros. on NES and this kid would get so rattled every time he died he'd hurl the joypad at the tv or overturn a coffeetable. Everytime. And that was only Mario.

Think of it this way, If Pacman effected us as kids we'd all be running around in darkened rooms listening to repetative music while muching on candy........so I guess that's a yes?

it's the combination of immaturity and competitiveness. I've played both cs and halo for awhile, and not winning = getting pissed off. It's like any other sport, only you can't slap them through their IP address if they start bitching too much.

I've seen worse. I played Halo 2 on xbl for a long time, with MLG players, and you wouldn't believe how pissed off some of the top players get. I got pretty damn good, even with a sucky connection, then got a T3 connection -----> major pwnage of the nubs. But Halo 2 = too much auto-aim.
