I run the site
http://www.iceteks.com/ if that counts, but I have not updated it or done anything to it in years. Been meaning to revamp it and bring some life back into it and also bring the forum back at least. It's more of a tech news aggregator but I do publish the odd thing. Basically any tech related email sent to my news@ email has a good chance of getting posted. But for some reason the system stopped working a long time ago and I never fixed it.
My main philosophy with the site is to also not be super annoying like most sites now days. No javascript based annoyances or modals, no spying etc. Basically no BS. That's why it looks like it was designed in the early 2000's. Modern web design sucks!
One thing I do need to do though is a mobile friendly version.
If you want really in depth technical blogging Mayne is the guy though. His posts are top notch quality.
