Wow, your bitterness makes my cynical outlook on life look like I'm tripping on E. Its good to see that you have damned the entire male gender for the actions of one individual. I pity the man who asks you out on a date.

It's such an ego-booster for ugly women that work here. Some even develop b|tch-like attitudes that most gorgeous women have (that attitude like she's too good for you). Is it like that where you work?

This is very common. One reason why the stats on woman who commit adultry are on the rise. Work is often a surrogate for a husband that does not meet the emotional needs of his wife. This kind of activity can quickly lead to an affair.

A 1997 Ball State University study suggests that young women, those under age 40, are just as likely to commit adultery as men their age.

in 1953 - 50 percent of husbands and 26 percent of wives surveyed had cheated by age 40

Looks like the women need to get busier!

According to the posted statistics, they already have. It says they have caught up to men and are just as likely. I read somewhere it was about 60% now.

Good for them! I was married for years and was faithful to a man who screwed everything that didn't move. The practice of one sided fidelty and monogamy didn't get me anything.

So that justifies reciprocation of wanton behavior? Hardly.

It sure does,If I had it to do over I'd have been stepping out every chance I got, enjoying myself instead of wasting my youth being faithful and responsible. He had a great time for himself,I was the fool for not following his lead.

Do you not see how retarded this is? So you'd like to see men suffer through crappy marraiges just because you went through one?

You know, for some reason that actually caused a twinge of emotional pain. I've been cheated on before, and I'll tell you though I'm angry at those women I've no patience with men who cheat on their spouses. It's a flat out low thing to do, regardless of gender.

No bitterness, just acknowledging reality,if I had it to do over I wouldn't have wasted my time being faithful to a husband who resrved the right to fsck everything in a skirt. At least if I'd stepped out I might have hade some decent sex occasionally.

Why would any man pay for a meal for an ugly woman that he couldn't at least get a BJ from?

I'm saying that guys have reserved the right to step out for decades,I find it amusing that people here are so shocked when women choose the same option.Women are human and subject to the same failings as men.

You do realize that your ex-husband still controls you and your life. He may not be there anymore, hurting you...but you're still letting him ruin your life by holding onto this pointless bitterness. It serves no purpose now. Your solution to lash out at the entire male gender is both illogical and counterproductive. You are ruining yourself.

It's exceptionally sad that your own moral character is contingent upon those around you. My morals stand independent of affirmation from others, so the transgressions of another certainly doesn't compromise my own.

The right to step out? you mean its expected that gyus will cheat on girls?

I think what you are trying to tell us is that you were too weak-willed to get out of a bad relationship and you are bitter, so you blame society for your crappy marraige.

Most of the men are utterly grotesque themselves. I think with the combination of their looks and age, they'll take anything with a hole.

I've seen this. I think you find it more in places where ugly women can excel. This is usually in engineering or some other place with lots of male nerds. Software firms, engineering firms, etc. Anyway, sometimes these women are married and still have work husbands. Oftentimes the men are married too. But it's kind of fun for them to have a work husband to flirt with, hang out with etc.

When women do it...they are stepping out because the husband is a controlling non-caring bastard or an absentee husband.

When a man does it...they are a cheating low-life bastard...

Surely you got the memo

If you wanted to have casual sex, then do the mature and responsible thing; get divorced. You act as though it was his fault you had moral character that was incongruous with his.

I don't understand why women require others to define themselves. Establish your own values and maintain them independent of what everyone else does.

As far as men at work, given a choice between spending your lunch time with a nice woman who's interested in your POV and some sullen, totally lacking in social graces, obese, slightly rancid smelling, pasty faced pimple farmer which would you chose?

You know me so well GB.

I'm not "lashing out" at anybody, just making the point that if I had it to do over I would have done things far differently.

I had kids, most of my friends had husbands who had g/friends etc, when you have kids you look the other way as long as you can for their sake. The divorce came only when things got so blatant that I couldn't look the other way anymore.I don't blame "society" I'm just saying that if I had it to do over I'd do things differently.

I don't think so but his rep was known so far and wide that I wouldn't bet any money on a "no" answer.
