Do women at your work have work husbands?

I work in an engineering company and women here (if you can call them women) all have at least one work husband. They'll often go out to 1-on-1 lunches and have their lunches paid for by stupid men, go on these walks, and open up to each other and talk for hours on company time.

It's such an ego-booster for ugly women that work here. Some even develop b|tch-like attitudes that most gorgeous women have (that attitude like she's too good for you). Is it like that where you work?

Very well put. At work, we even joke and call those guys their "boyfriends".

It's sad but these women often see their co-workers more than their real husbands.

Having been a daytime husband, let me state that it is easy to form a freindship, a fairly close one, with someone you see for eight hours a day. In my case, we knew each other's spouses and children, so our friendship extended beyond the office. It has been fifteen years and close as we were/are (we are still close even though she has left the company), our relationship was never anything more than platonic.

Kind of, because where I worked was kind of the end of the world, as far as females go, in DC. But other places in DC are always teeming with young interns over the summer, so not all the time.
