Do women care if a guy is going bald?

I'm in my late 20's and I'm losing a lot of hair. The hair on the crown of my head is thinning out pretty bad. I would said the crown of my head would be completely bald in 1-2 years.:'(

I know about the rogaine, propecia, and nizoral shampoo combination. Rogaine didn't work for me and I used it for year. I can't use propecia because it affected me pretty bad.

I know some people will just say shave all hair off but I have a weird shaped head and it would look awful if I shaved my head.

GQ says you should go really short but not bald - basically do what Jason Statham is doing. Have you tried that?

Well I am fit because I go to the gym all the time. I hope that offsets the hair loss a little

There is no universal look for you that will appeal to all women, so screw it. Shave it down 1/2" - 1/4" at first, and when you are used to being comfortable with your head shave it down.

lol its been a slow process. but at 15 you could tell i was going bald. it sucked.

now at 37 i only have hair around my head and not on top.

i been tempted to just shave it all off. Right now if it gets half a inch its to long. i keep it 1/8th to 1/4th a inch

Did the whole "big 3" combo to prolong the inevitable but got sick of doing the regime and wasting money, gave that up around 22, started shaving it down to a #2 and now I just it with a #1 every 2 weeks. Wife doesn't care. I'm 6'1 though. Would suck if you are a short or fat, or both lol

also, grow a beard if it helps? she said she would rather me have a beard + balding rather then hair on top and a little boy face...hope that helps ;p

yeah I got sick of the rogaine routine and it didn't work for me.

I am 5'11" and fit. I do have a g/f now but in case we break up in the future, I was hoping my baldness wouldn't hamper my ability to get women.

Some of the newer hair treatments are rather spectacular if you have the $$. Just think of how many hollywood types would look if they didn't get transplants/etc.

You can basically prove that all of these stars have had hair replacement surgery :

Mel Gibson
Kevin Costner
Tom Arnold
Matthew McConaughey
Jude Law
Tom Brady
etc.

The downside is that you probably still have tons of work to maintain it after extensive surgeries to get to that point.
