Some of the newer hair treatments are rather spectacular if you have the $$. Just think of how many hollywood types would look if they didn't get transplants/etc.

You can basically prove that all of these stars have had hair replacement surgery :

Mel Gibson
Kevin Costner
Tom Arnold
Matthew McConaughey
Jude Law
Tom Brady
etc.

The downside is that you probably still have tons of work to maintain it after extensive surgeries to get to that point.

just curious ... but how can you prove they've all had surgery?

and no i'm not google searching.

The Golden Boy? GTFO! I would love for it to be true, but the dude has like...attractive women hair.

I don't think many women would say no to Jason Statham.

My hairline is starting to recede and I'm only 21 D: I've got long hair so it's not noticeable right now but I'm going to have to shave it in the next couple of years I bet.

Also it helps if you're not a manlet

Women care about balding guys. If you are good looking and smart/funny otherwise it can make up for it.

im 37 and been going bald since my teen years. i have to say i have not ran into many women that really care.

long as you take care of what hair you have and don't try a comb-over anyway

haven't you been married forever?

I don't judge people based on their hair or lack of. The only thing that catches my attention is when a guy shaves his head and it makes him look odd. I am thinking about the officer in the Zimmerman arrest video in the police garage. He looks really goofy.

Was waiting for a "manlet" comment...

OP: Yes they do, but what you going to do about it? Hair implants + $$$$$, rogaine + greasy shitty "hair" + $$$, propecia + $$$$$$$ + possible shrunken balls + tits?

I shave my head twice a week with a 000 (~0.50mm) blade. I "accidentally" (yay for reading packaging) used a 0000 or 0.25mm blade on my head a few weeks back. Looked great, but got major clipper/razor burn. Full shave with a razor or even electric mustache shaver is annoying and laborious. Going full bald means any missed hair shows up really well and looks weird.

Oh ya, my head is very well shaped for shaving. And the face isn't that hard to look at...

They definitely care, but I bet it can be made up for in other areas.

Well, its not a plus that's for sure. But since women rate 80% of men as uglier than average chances are you weren't going to be succeeding on your looks in the first place.

Some of the pharmaceutical "cures" barely work and have the potential to cause impotence. So keep that little factoid in mind before you pull out all the stops.

No. Most women don't give a shit about baldness unless you do something stupid like attempt a pathetic combover. But they care about it if you do.

My observation is that baldness is a lot acceptable if either:

- Bald guy has cool facial hair
- Bald guy is really muscular

If you want to try and get your hair to start growing back in, using a topical isn't going to really do it. You have to get your testosterone levels back up while also keep your DHT levels in check.

Take a zinc supplement as well as tongkat ali extract and He Shou Wu.

I'm 25 and have the same thing which started in college.

It happens. Just date people really short so they can't see up there.

It's never really mattered much to me. I started losing my hair quickly in my early 20's and I get WAY more interest from women post-bald than I did pre-bald. I'm sure there are other factors to consider, but just own it and it really won't be an issue.

As Charlie Sheen's advice columnist character in the movie 'Good Advice' said, "Less hair = More head".

You'll want to compensate. If you have less hair, have a better physique, or make more money.

Another vote for the Jason Statham look... Know a few guys with similar hairstyle and they all do wonderfully with the ladies, so you cant go wrong with it (as long as you have the confidence to back it up)

Jason Statham has a receding hairline on the front. I am thinning out on the back of my head so so it's way different.
