Do You Bathe/Shower Before Bed?

I find it pretty gross to fall asleep with all the collected crap that is on my skin and body from the day.

I sweat, I walk through NYC traffic, I am on the NYC subway, I am in an office with a bunch of people who have God knows what on their body - walking by me, crop dusting me. Oh! And Lord knows how many corp dustings I get when walking around the subway and city!!

So, when I slip into bed, for some rest, I want to be squeeky clean.

Also, I shower. I don't care if you bathe, shower, jump into a pool or wipe your entire body down with a wet terry cloth - I am wondering if delouse yourself before you go to sleep.

I normally only shower in the morning, but I'll shower during the day occasionally if it's been really hot and I was sweating bullets like Krussell.

I wash up before bed (wash my face/scalp, rub an alcohol astringent on my shaved head, brush my teeth, etc) but shower in the morning.

if I'm engaging in any kind of activity that made me sweat or otherwise feel gross, then I'll shower afterwards or before bed, but on a typical day I don't feel the need. I save it till the morning since showering helps wake me up (and I feel gross going straight from sweating in bed to putting on clean clothes)

I do wash my face before bed though (floss/brush my teeth and everything too of course).

I use to shower before bed, but not anymore because:

1) A shower invigorates me and causes difficulty to sleep
2) My towel will be wet in the morning
3) I prefer morning showers as it wakes me up for the day.

Shower at night as God intended. Don't sleep in your own filth and the oils that build up during sleep act as natural sunscreen the next day.
