Do you "bless" people when they sneeze?

I used to feel obligated to say something whenever someone sneezed, but I never do so anymore..Except if it's a cute girl in class or something =p

I figure what's the point?





And yeah I'm sure some of you say "spider" when someone sneezes, and it doesn't matter if it's a spider that sneezes =p

Sneezing is embarassing, because you look foolish. Saying "bless you" to that person is like saying "haha, you sneezed, but don't worry, I don't think you are a freak for making that funny face, and blowing your internal fluids all over the room. It happens to the best of us."

Only it's shorter.

I do not. I don't see the point in doing so. "Bless you"....why? Im not religous, Im not sure if saying "Bless you" has any religous context, but Im not giving my blessings to anyone who sneezes.

I have heard though, every time you sneeze, if no one says "Bless you" then you lose a part of your soul.

I have also heard that a sneeze is 1/8th of an orgasm.

For those not in the know...

Everytime this topic comes up I have to push my campaign to make farting socially acceptable.

Sneezing and farting are both normal body functions, but farting in public is treated like some sort of horrible sin. Why can't we forgive the person, and say, "Bless you", instead of laughing or nervously looking around.

The next time someone farts observe how childish we are.
