Of course. Even the GTS is badly underpowered. The celica is all show and no girl, and that appeals well to girls or guys who know/care little about cars but want to trick other guys/girls who know/care little about cars into thinking that they have a sports car. I've actually seen the celica referred to as a sports car.

My sister likes it. The body styling is pretty cool, the engine is sub-par however. If they made it better I wouldn't mind buying/driving it.

No! Celicas used to be RWD cars with pretty respectable engines. The Supra was originally a special Celica model, the Celica Supra. Later the Supra became it's own line & the Celica became a FWD POS.

I think they are ok. The sides look like the new F-16 Block 60 with the conformal fuel tanks.

The Celica is not as girlie as the Grand Am. Look at all the Grand Ams out there. 99% are driven by girls.

I don't know what you mean by badly underpowered ?? As oppose to what car ??
If you're talking about the Sti and Evo, sure but they're $30K+ cars.

Compare to the RSX, both cars are very comparable and the Celica handles much better.
180hp pushin a 2500lbs car as oppose to 200hp pushing a 2800lbs car.
The Celica is just as fast as the RSX and you can find a used one much cheaper than a RSX.

Beside the car is 3 yrs old.....back in 2000, 180hp pushing 2500lbs made it pretty quick.
Personally I think the looks very nice with the TRD appearance package.

Badly underpowered? They have 180HP in a 2500lb body! If that's badly underpowered, so is every Focus SVT, Sentra V Spec, RSX-S, Golf 1.8t, pretty much any FWD compact sport car. Toyota is right on par with just about anyone else.
