In my building the elevator bank I'm in goes from 1 to 3-10. The second floor is accessed by another elevator. When it beeps for each floor, moving between 1 and 3, there is a discernible gap in the beeping pattern which suggests you are going up 2 floors instead of one, but I could imagine a blind person being pretty confused about that.

I'm more focused on the time between beeps. Why does it take longer to go between the third floor and the fourth than between the fourth and the fifth? Stuff like that bothers me.

Dont forget most buildings omit the 13th floor so the 14th is really the 13th
