I only have milk with cereal, because it's good for your bones and everything else.

Why?

Are you for real?

Why don't you drink human milk? Wouldn't that make more sense?

Why is cow milk an acceptable beverage? Why don't people pour donkey milk on their Rice Crispies or dunk their Oreos into a big glass of rat milk?

I probably would drink human milk if it were available. Right alongside my baby stew.

Usually only in the mornings (I wake up at 2pm unless there's work/school so I'm in the clear there). I'm not a breakfast person and wake up with no time to spare so I drink it to 'fill' the stomach so it shuts up until lunch. Also, works in place of water and tea. For some reason I feel sick if I drink either of the two early in the day.

Every once in awhile, not counting using it in cereal and recipes and such. But when you think about it, what other species drinks milk after being weaned? Doesn't make much sense when you think about it, that's why I don't think it's a necessary part of any diet; calcium can be obtained from many other natural sources.

I love a big cold pint glass of full cream milk

Prism's argument makes as much sense as saying 'what species eats burritos? None, except humans, therefore burritos are evil and we shouldn't eat them!'

Milk offers a very convenient natural source of calcium, so it seems fairly logical that people drink it. If you don't like it, that's fantastic, but the argument Prism is putting forward makes baby Jesus cry.

people think milk builds strong bones... for babies that is true.

calcium in adults gets used up by muscle before it even gets to bone.

For the right dollar amount, I bet I could beat that "gallon challenge". I hate to be sick, so I'm not going to try it just in case, but I'm pretty sure I could handle a gallon of milk in an hour with not much problem.
It's been done many times before, so it's not like it's impossible.

A half-gallon a night? Shens. Or you're a fatass.

Prism is only saying that milk is hardly a necessary part of adult human diet, and I agree wholeheartedly.

I don't think anyone's arguing with that, but he would appear to be suggesting that because other species don't drink milk after being weaned, neither should we

..no. prostate cancer. Heart disease.. to name a couple. No biological reason to drink milk beyond puberty. Humans are the only animals that continue to do so.. at peril.

You have to backup these inane claims

Most people in the devloped world consume some milk every day, FUD merchants like you would seem to suggest we're all doomed, doomed!

The ironing is that you're more than likely some enormously fat nerd, who doesn't get enough excercise, and doesn't have his prostate checked

I think I would puke if I took a single sip of plain milk. I'm not big on milk or milk products. I don't like the taste or the texture. I hate the smell that develops if you spill even a few drops of it here and there. I think I might be somewhat lactose intolerant too.

I wish it wasn't this way. As such, I now swallow calcium pills like a nut, because I don't want to lose height.

Have fun passing your future kidney stones.

Most of the developed world is suffering increasing rates of cancer and other life changing diseases.

Shouldn't you be off clubbing aborigines and wiping out native species with the rest of your limey prison colony?
