Stash makes a tea like that called Black Forest, smells like chocolate, with milk and sugar or fake sugar tastes vaguely like hot chocolate. Not something I would drink regularly.

Main tea is Taylor's of Harrogate, either afternoon Darjeeling straight, or Yorkshire Gold with milk and fake sugar.

We usually have about two dozen premium tea blends around for various moods. Once in a great while I will spend $30 or so for a couple ounces of whatever the best Darjeeling that year is, so far always worth it, but not as a daily.

Good cheap US tea is Rose Red or Red Rose, I forget which and its what I am drinking at the moment.

Tip on making a good cup of Chai, the spices are essentially the same as pumpkin pie spice mix. Simmer a couple tablespoons on the stove in a pot for 20 min or so and then use the liquid with preferred black tea, add milk and sugar to taste. Many prefer sweetened condensed milk.

i am also lucky to have a proper tea pot, to be warmed up before using it. I wash the tea as well, and in the end, oolong (which is a pain in the ass to prepare correctly) gives me a much better experience than any earl gray or other powder substitute.

I get most of my tea from Teavana, who's owned by Starbucks apparently. Teaopia got bought out by them. As a result, they got rid of my favourite summer time tea, black lemon drop. Was not impressed. Guess I could just dry some lemon peel to make my own though.

Growing up in a British household, tea has always been our main drink. I don't drink coffee at all. In the morning I have a cup of Teavana's English Breakfast with just milk, no sugar. I can drink tea black but it's not my favourite.

I used to drink Typhoo and Yorkshire Gold too but it started getting hard to find it loose. I get them in the bags occasionally. Usually just Red Rose or Tetley now if I want to make a quick pot.

I take a thermos of 26 oz of coffee and drink that in the morning. I sometimes move on to oolong tea.

This is my work infuser cup full of a rolled oolong.

This is my home tea setup before I got a temp programmable goose neck electric kettle:

This is the kettle I have now: http://www.amazon.com/Bonavita-Varia...ref=pd_sbs_k_1

Teavana is such a ripoff, and the idea of primarily flavored teas makes my skin crawl. They have this scheme to sell overpriced flavored tea by having you smell the big bulk containers, and giving out shot glass sized samples of tea. Makes my skin crawl. Its nothing more than a predatory marketing scheme plied on the naive.

In SoCal we have a lot of Asian, Persian, and even a few British grocery stores, so its not hard to find good tea of any brand or variety. Real premium teas, single estate Darjeelings of merit, and I have to use online sources.

I don't think method of brewing is "that" critical, and rarely use a pot. Temperature of the water, quality of the water, and ratio of tea to water need to be paid attention to, and tuned in for personal preference in taste.

Last night I had some Constant Comment, week ago I was drinking Tetley Masala Chai for Diwali, today its back to Red Rose.

We drink so much of the Taylor's afternoon Darjeeling we buy it by the carton of six boxes from Amazon.

I do like some flavored teas, Russian Caravan, Masala Chai, Earl Grey, vanilla, black current, and Taylors has a very nice green tea with jasmine.
