Yes, I like that they use quality ingredients and meat without hormones/antibiotics.

I had it once in the downtown Toronto location. I can't stand cilantro, so the cilantro-lime rice ruins it for me. I also always order burritos without guacamole

I pretty much only eat burritos at Barburrito, they have a couple locations around Toronto, one is close to my work. No guac, of course.

Around here, they let you choose from different kinds of rice.

Chipotle food is good for what it is. So is Moes, Qdobe, etc... they are all nearly the same. I have a Moes and a Chipotle in town and usually eat at Moes as it is a better deal and the environment is better (Chipotle looks like a renovated broom closet)...

i ate there a long time ago and it was a moderately crowded place. you go there now and theres a line, even at 9:30 at nigh, theyve become a lot more popular. if you like that type of food, there are taco truck style restaurants run by real mexicans that have just as tasty for less

Quality ingredients and not a bad price.

Super busy is actually one of the negatives. I think they will peak out. In that I walk in see the line and I'm like uhhhhhhhh and go somewhere else.

At the same time if they put so many chipotles too close together it loses the uniqueness of going there to begin with. I'm definitely more of a "Oh hey I'm near chipotle I'm totally going" but I wouldn't go ALL the time.

That's not called indigestion.

I've never had "random indigestion" from eating a large quantity of meat. And the amount of meat in a large burrito can hardly be called "large" in comparison to a typical burger or small dinner steak.
It's IBS, indigestion, food allergy, or something.

Often a large greasy burger will do the same thing to me: sudden cramps, gas, heartburn, horrible internal noises, etc sending me straight to the restroom (most definitely triggered by what I just ate). I often feel like I can't make it home and have to pull over someplace even though I hate using public toilets.

IOW, I often respond to oil/grease the same as many respond to Olestra/Olean. Not always, but Taco Bell and Chipotle do it to me almost consistently and I know I'm not the only one thanks to South Park and all the "Taco Hell" critics online.

I eat there probaably once a week. It tastes like real food, and they are slowly working on getting their foods less and less GMO based, They are working to be GMO free before 2015.

I will very soon. One is opening up about 5 minutes from my house. Looking forward to giving it a shot asap.

Its really similar to Qdoba. Its not bad at all but nothing that will change your life. To me, its a great lunch option.

I was pretty disappointed by going to a Chipotle after all the hype.

It was a decent quality but relatively mediocre experience. Not nearly as good as some of the local burrito shops (and I'm talking in New England, not SoCal)

That being said I can see how delivering fast, mediocre but consistent burritos has a pretty big market associated with it- just like delivering fast, mediocre coffee or anything else

For $6.25 I get a freshly made burrito bowl with:

Brown Rice
Black Beans
Grilled Chicken
Fajitas
Refillable cup of water

that tastes good, is relatively healthy (a lot of salt, but the rest is pretty nutritious) and fills me up for several hours. It's the best bang-for-the-buck restaurant food I've ever encountered.

If I do, I'll get a chicken salad, no sour cream, dash of cheese, no dressing. It's OK, but I find their food to be so fatty...

I really don't understand why people love it so much. It's bland and overpriced.

I've found the blandness depends on which location you're at and even what day or time of day it is. They switch off who cooks what, so it always tastes a little different each time. I've had the same dish be spicey and bland, but it always tastes good overall IMO.

Unless you're some crazy Indian dude with half his taste buds burned by a lifetime of food dunked in Sulfuric Acid.

lrn2make a tasty burrito

That's a problem with these build it yourself places. A lot of people don't know how to make something tasty, and they end up blaming the place for it tasting bad.

I don't know why everyone says chipotle is bland, I don't know what you're ordering but the barbacoa is fucking awesome. Has a slight kick to it, exacerbated by the hot salsa. Good stuff with a fajita burrito

I've gone two different times and had two Chipotle experts order for me, two different orders, two different locations, both bland as hell. Get the same thing other places and you can actually taste the food.

I hope by Chipotle Experts, you don't mean the people working there. If you say yes to everything they ask you to put on there, you'll end up with a burrito with lots of lettuce and rice, which I wouldn't be surprised if that tasted bland.

I usually ask for less rice, no lettuce, and lots more salsa.

Seriously this. They almost always overdo the rice and you get a burrito that will barely close and bloat you up way more than you need and tastes bland cuz the filling is out of proportion. Needs less rice, and add medium and hot salsa. By no means is Chipotle anything amazing, but like I said before, at least it tastes like real food. If you're stranded in a suburban wasteland it's usually one of your best options.

Haha yes, two self proclaimed Chipotle experts. They ordered for me but I just didn't like it. I also recently went to Panera Bread for the first time. My sandwich was ok but not great. They did have a decent selection of goodies though so I'll go back there and try them out.

I eat there pretty maybe twice a month but the one near our house is always out of fajita vegetables. It's pretty amazing. No matter when we go they generally only have scraps in the bin for the vegetables. You'd think someone would have figured it out at this point.

They also don't seem to understand what "no meat" means. If you say "vegetarian" or "I'm only getting vegetables" they give you barely any veggies and ask what meat you want.
