Yeah I'll be driving, steering with my knees all the while I have my plate with an 18 oz. steak + fully loaded baked potato, buttered dinner roll, and some veggies...the hard part is cutting the steak b/c for that, i have to wedge the plate between the steering wheel and my chest so that I can use both hands (fork and knife) to cut it.
I hope you're joking. But, in case you're not, I do recall a few similar meals that I've had in the car. "oh no, dinner just gotten done, but I have to be 20 miles away in 25 minutes. I've gotta go now!"
I think the worst that I used to do regularly was write college papers while driving. I had a half hour commute to school, and MWF mornings one semester, I had to write a 2 page essay about something based on an American short story I read the day before. Since I didn't want to waste my 30 minutes doing nothing, I wrote all but 1 of the essays while driving. I pointed out to my prof that consistently, about 2/3 of the way down the back side of the paper, there was some really sloppy handwriting - "that's the rough section right before the offramp. They really need to repave it there." The look on his face when he realized I was serious about actually writing them on the way to school was priceless.
