Do you enjoy Anand's Podcasts?

I'll probably listen to podcasts after I buy my iSheepTouch 5th gen or iSheepPhone 5.

Episode 7 is up. Anand is pretty funny when he talks about Oblivion (they get into a side discussion about video game quests after talking about Borderlands 2).

Anand, Brian, and Ian seem more comfortable now in the podcasts, it's a good listen when I'm driving and at work.

I'm bumping this thread every episode because it's just as worthwhile (maybe more so if you enjoy learning about new tech) as television threads.

Like they said in the podcast, we really have no idea about the behind the scenes drama with motherboard, processor, and other tech companies and how they interact with review sites like AnandTech.

Excellent episode.

Yea, I've really never thought of it that way. Certainly an interesting podcast.

I urge everyone to listen to it. It's a very eye-opening take on the tech industry and its practices as a whole.

Anand should do more videos. YouTube is where its at. He could bring in more $$$ and give better content than a podcast can. Video makes everything better.

He could do interviews, product reviews, document his trips to conferences.

Anand obviously does a great job on this website but he is missing a lot of opportunity.

It would be nice if he did more videos, but videos are time consuming and take a lot of effort. Anand does a lot of traveling to conferences, spends a lot of time reviewing products, writing articles, meeting and calling different people, etc. The written content might suffer if he focused more on video...

But podcasts don't take much prep or editing work and they can involve the other staff even when they aren't all in the same location.

He does do video reviews from time to time now, though. His hands-on iPhone 5 review (Brian Klug is there as well, I think) has nearly 3 million views.

I'm not much of a podcast listener, but I've enjoyed what I've heard so far. Anand sounds kinda sorta a bit like Alan Alda. Not spot on like that guy on Survivor, but the similarity is there.

Haven't been listening to them. That's the reason I need to stay away from the podcasts. I kinda figured there would be too much Apple in them. Well, any talk about Apple is too much for me.

<3 the podcast. I am an avid listener. Why is it taking so long for Episode 9 to be released? It's been two and a half weeks since the last episode, which is the longest gap between any of Anand's podcasts since their inception. I'm starting to worry that the whole podcast project has been disbanded. I'm on tenterhooks here!
