Do you ever feel you studied hard for an exam and...

still feel unprepared for the test? I need some test taking tips. Any tips guys?

Yes, I always have the feeling that I didn't prepare enough, but when I go to take the test I always do better than I expected.

oh yeah... had my chem test on wed...
4 hours sleep in 2 day... still think i am not ready...
over prepared and did well...

dont worry about it...
you will do fine

I'm taking Etymology since this week for the summer and for 2 or 3 more weeks. I've been up till 12 every night studying because we have a test EVERY DAY of this class and so I usually score a high B+ or low A- but I keep studying more because I want to make it an A or atleast a definite A-.

Umm, I didn't say I did well I'm a totally half assed student, and it shows. I have the worst study habits...I'll do anything I can (including other work) just to avoid studying. Probably stems from k-12, where I didn't have to study at all and aced everything...college is a bit different...

test every wed and mon
on top of that 4 labs due per week


just reg for fall, i got

physiological psychology
constitutional law
comparative vertebrate anatomy
molecular and cellular biology
organic chemistry

Umm, I didn't say I did well I'm a totally half assed student, and it shows. I have the worst study habits...I'll do anything I can (including other work) just to avoid studying. Probably stems from k-12, where I didn't have to study at all and aced everything...college is a bit different...

That's the exact same way I was throughout school. Did awesome k-12 because everything you need to know is consistently repeated to you which was good for me cuz I learn best from listening to others, not from books so when college hit, I really had no idea how to study and really didn't.

Managed a 3.0 in Computer Engineering but if I even remotely applied myself, I'd have done so much better.

Good luck. Like a lot of my professor's would say, "It's just a test!"

gotta spread the studying out. don't try to cram before an exam learn the material as it is taught. then later, about the week before the exam all you need to do is tighten the loose screws.

If you don't know by now, you might as well get a good night of sleep and then take the test rested rather than being tired. Of course, this only applies if you are like me who used to pull all nighters in college, but don't remember what the heck you studied or read.

Well, I used to study all night or (cram) for the exam in my sophomore year and did horrible on the test. Cramming doesn't work.
