give me a break. i'm getting Thanksgiving day and xmas day and thats it the rest of the year, projects don't allow us to even take any days off. I'll have 40 days vacation at the start of the year

I have class on Monday. The only holidays I get off at school are Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years (Winter Break), MLK Jr Day, and Memorial Day.

Yes I'm working. Self-employed and I have a lot of extra work right now. Which is great since I need the money.

Don't get it off. We used to have 10/12 as a holiday, then instead of adding Martin Luther King Day, they took away Columbus Day and gave us a floating holiday to use as we wanted. Actually, a pretty good solution. Most people, me included, burn this up in the summer, not in February or mid-October. So I work both Columbus Day & MLK Day.
