Do you go out alone?

I really hate going out shopping or just go out in general by myself.
If no one eats a meal with me, I just buy carryout and eat in front of a computer. I can never go to a fast food joint/restaurant and eat by myself.
Are you guys like this?

I prefer to shop by myself. I like to give myself time to buy the right stuff and make decisions without feeling like I'm dragging someone else along.
I won't go to restaurants by myself either.

I actually prefer to go shopping alone so I can pay full attention to what I'm doing but I won't eat out or go to a bar myself anymore.

I never cared for restaurants, either alone or with a group. Never cared for social eating environments. Shopping, I definitely prefer alone. It goes much quicker. I even mosy around, and take my time in the aisles, but I still do a week's grocery shopping in less than 30 minutes.

Know what, I think I'm going to have to go with the "trolling for hookers" option, too.

I also prefer shopping buy myself, but eating at a restaurant alone is a no go. I might watch a game at a sports bar alone if it's a must see and no one wants to go. But usually that's a social environment, and it would be easy to join a group since I live in a college town.

I don't dine out alone unless it's in a fast food place. Even then I sometimes like to eat in front of my PC while I play video games.

shopping: definitely useful alone if not just browsing
eating: fast food, alone kinda ok; restaurant, alone is awkward

Who cares? Everybody is not going to stop and point just because you're eating/shopping/etc. by yourself. Besides, you're in China. Nobody gives a flying fuck about anyone unless they actually know them.

The greatest thing about going out alone is you meet a LOT more people/women. Hello goes a long way.

i dont usually eat alone in fast food joints, but i will have breakfast alone like at Dennys and stuff. i have no issues shopping or goin to the movies alone. sometimes if i got the time, i won't let the opportunity slip by.

Part of working in sales means time in places where you might not know anyone. So yes, I do sit down and have dinner by myself. It is not bad though, if you sit at the bar usually you usually end up talking with someone.

I traveled through Europe and Madagascar by myself, so..no. It doesn't bother me much.

eh, I never do. not that I'm afraid.. but why would I go to a sit down place to have a meal alone? I go there to enjoy food with friends, and not have to worry about clean up.

fast food I'll grab on my own if I'm in a bind though.

as for shopping, I like to go alone, I don't like to linger too much if I don't have to. but then again, depends what I'm shopping for.

I won't eat at a restaurant or see a movie alone, but I'll go shopping or run errands. Eating out and going to the movie theater are mostly social activities for me, so I don't see the point of doing it alone.

I generally don't have a problem doing things by myself. I'll regularly go out to eat, to study/read at coffee shops, to work out, and to shop alone. The only places in which I feel a bit odd being by myself would be bars and clubs.

Don't get me wrong, heading to the aforementioned places with friends is great. But a lot of times, it's nice to have a chance to just sit and be alone for a bit.

This never occurred to me that some ppl would be afraid of this. No wonder I get dragged to places I don't like to eat by some friends...

Depends. I prefer to go shopping along for expediencies sake. I'll go work out alone. Everything else, I need some company. I don't even like going to grab lunch alone.
