Do you guys REALLY think there's going to be a 7800 Ultra with 32 pipes?

Right, where's the 6900 refresh. You don't see "refreshes" like the 5900 often, which was a replacement (NOT a "refresh") to the failed 5800. Unless the 7800 line gets utterly crushed like the 5800 did, I highly doubt we'll see a 7900, and there's little reason to believe the 7800s will be that bad in copmarison to the R520.

Little reason? How about 10,000+ 3DMark05 scores for the FUDO!? That's reason enough!

And the 5950 was the refresh for the 5900. Big deal. What's your point? The 6900 refresh was scrapped just like most 6800 Ultra Extreme's were. Anybody who actually follows the video card scene already knows this.

personally... I just want a 7800GTX with 512mb... that sounds like it would be all nice and toasty, and if it cant handle the graphics on a game... that game is just too advanced for the time, and should have waited a couple more minutes to be released... because you know.. once ATI releases their R520.... nVidia cant just let them be better so then they will release something to just edge that out, and ATI will return with something slightly better than nvidias response... blah blah face it there will never be a such thing as a best card... for more than a couple weeks at most!
