Depends on what you consider a "medical condition"...3 herniated disks in my low back, degenerative disk disease, some spinal stenosis, and spondylolisthesis, (yeah, my back is pretty fvcked) plus a bad knee that will probably require arthroplasty within a couple of years...

no shyt... you've got marfan's?

i don't have it or anything, but i learned all about it last trimester in radiology

Yep. My mom is on disability because of it. I pretty much hurt all the time, but I'm no pill-popper. I only take ibuprofen if I really need it, like last night. I don't know much about it, but I can only assume that some of my pains are a direct result of it, like my knee hurting real bad when going to the theater.

try a chiropractor for joint mobility and pain relief

Neither.

I try to take care of myself, so hopefully it'll remain this way for a long time...

Unfortunately no matter how well you take care of yourself, you may already have a problem. That's the nasty part of many medical conditions, there's just nothing you can do to avoid it and many simply don't have a cure.

Some annoying environmental allergies, asthma, OCD (diagnosed by friends, pretty sure I'm not actually OCD), and lactose intolerance. Weak sauce compared to some of the other stuff in this thread.

Come to think of it, people posting lactose intolerance should stop, it's actually a mutation for the human stomach to be able to digest lactose after infancy.

that sucks

Actually what sucks is even finding out you have it. I had always dismissed the pain before, but now I think about it all the time so I notice it more. The wierd thing about Marfan's is that the symptons are things that would normally seem good, which is why many people don't even realize they have it. What's worse is that my doctor's have never mentioned it, and my physical therapist thought it sounded familiar but didn't ever think of it when he tested my flexibility and said I was ultra-flexible(even showed me off to others). I didn't even know about it till my mom came home saying she saw a specialist that diagnosed her, and being an inherited genetic disorder her doc said I probably have it too, given my injuries and symptons.

yeah, there are different degrees of marfan's... sounds like you got the more crappy end of the spectrum.

maybe try another chiropractor?... someone lots of other people trust.

I'm 21 and nothing major yet. But everyone in my family tends to mutate into a strange blend of crazy/psychotic/depressive once they are over 40.

I have had two severe anxiety attacks in the past two years (apparently the first time, I tried to crack my head open on the kitchen counter...I have no real memory of it) and had to be taken to the ER. All I remember is this feeling that someone was pounding nails through my eyeballs - that is exactly how I remember it.

But they were pretty isolated incidents and almost everyone falls apart every once in a while. Like a burnout or a breakdown maybe. So the future is kinda morbidly exciting for me, I think.

I had a couple anxiety attacks too in the last couple years, forgot about that. They can be nasty.

Herpes
Blown back
Bad hip
Panic attacks

I could have more, but it could also just be my panic attacks fooling my body.

Tinitus/High frequency hearing loss - Have hearing aids but really hate wearing them.
OCD - Very methodical and orderly.
And wife things I'm ADHD - Still figuring this one out.
