Pilot G2. I remember we high school debaters used that all the time as flow pens. It's been my pen of choice ever since.

I've upgraded from blue and black though. Now I like to color code my notes in blue, red, purple, black, and green. Helps with those thermodynamics phase diagram curves you know... =P

Oh the 0.5mm ones rock btw. When you write on a notebook it doesn't come out very thin unless you're writing on single sheets on a smooth desk surface. With the 0.7mms you'll get fat lines unless you plan on using pages and pages of notes. The 0.5mm ones help with equations too as you get fractions and integrals and subscripts and superscripts left and right.

I don't have "Favorite" pen per se,

I use Pilot G5 from Walmart for my school writing. They are inexpensive, have comfy grip and flow smoothly.

My favorite type of pen, aside from my fountain pen, is made by Uni-Ball and Mitsubishi...it's a .38mm tip and I had to have relatives bring them over from asia. I know that you can get them in some art stores and online now, but I've had my stash for a few years now. I love fine fine tipped pens.

I work in a large office. I learned not to build relationships with pens as they vanish too fast. I'm that guy who about once a month wanders around the office throwing pens everywhere in hopes that through saturation coverage there will still be a pen at my desk when I return.
