Drivers License, Certificate of Naturalization, Passport, and SSN card.
I'm covered.
You carry your passport with you at all times?
Your SSN card has your picture on it? In fact do you even carry it? No one should carry their SS card for idenity protection reasons.

Seems there have been many times when I needed two forms of photo ID. Mainly when it involves money or taxes.
Just curious how many people maintain two forms of photo ID.
The only ones I can think of off hand are drivers licenses, state issued ID, passport, military ID.
School ID
Your school ID is govt issued?
If it's a public school then yes. I'd say that my state university ID is technically 'government issued'

I have my DL and an ID Card. Both issued from IL, so I guess when I get my FL DL I'll have three (until my IL ones expire).
They might take it away. Do you have to go in and take the wrtten + driving tests, or do you just have to show them your out of state license to get a license in FL? If the latter, I think they'd take it away. If the former, they may ask you if you have a license in another state and take it away. I seem to remember reading when I got my NJ license that you have to surrender your license from another state to get your NJ license.
Of course you could just lie, but there's not much benefit to having both unless you sell it to some kid to use as a fake ID.

As far as I know, all 50 states REQUIRE you to surrender all preexisting driver's licenses before they will issue you a driver's license for that state. They then notify the previous DMV to expire you and destroy the card.
And most states, from what I know, require you to surrender your DMV-issued state ID if you have one before they'll issue you a driver's license.

oh, and for those asking why would you need two forms...
I've had to provide government issued two photo IDs for gambling winnings and other transactions involving money and taxes. along with a social security card.

I don't gamble so I don't have to worry about that. Transactions involving money and taxes is kind of vague. I guess if the time comes that I need a passport for something other than travelling out of the country, I'll get one then. I highly doubt that will happen.

Check the requirements for the IRS. Not trying to argue, but when you're moving 10s or 100s of thousands of dollars around a drivers license doesn't cut it.
Doesn't really matter much I guess as you can buy any of these documents illegally.

I've moved up to $50k at a time with no issues. But I guess maybe it depends on the type of transaction.
