Do you know the name of this movie? IT'S GYMKATA

For the life of me I cannot remember the name of a movie. As I remember it the movie is from the 1980's. The plot is that there is a game with 5 or so people playing. They are being chased by some hired thugs I guess you could call them. If there caught there killed. The race is through a town and cross country on foot. I rememebr a scene with climbing up a rope up a small cliff. Poeple crossing over a river, someone being killed with an arrow. And a strange town with what I think I remember cannibals. Anyway the lead guy was blonde and I think his father was supposedly killed in the same game. I think the guy who ran the town ran the race. Do you remember this movie and the title? It was pretty cheesy but in a enjoyable way.

They introduced Mario 3 in The Wizard, starring Fred Savage and Christian Slater.

Nope not Surviving the Game, The Race or Running Man. It was a real movie, not a made for tv movie. I don;t remember nay of the actors probably because htey were no name actors.

I really vividly remember the scene when he reaches the town with the cannibals chasing the guy. If I remember right he then meets his father who he thought was dead or he finds his fathers body, I can;t remember. More pondering....

Its a ninja movie.

The main white guy likes the daughter of the guy who is having the contest.

But I cant remember the name

I do remember that the ninja's stood on the side of the cliffs and held small hand flags to let the contestants know where the boundaries were.


EDIT: More I remember; The prize was the guy's daughter, and he was cheating somehow killing the contestants early. She eventually helps the guy finish.

um, Judgement Night didn't have cannibals or a strange town, or arrows, etc etc..

It did have a RV though.

and a kick ass soundtrack.

Think it had alot of Rock bands w/ Rap groups.
