No, I heard 3 shots a week ago and a young man was killed about 1/3 mile from my home.
If I owned a gun the answer would be "yes"...
I own more guns than just about anyone on AT, and I don't like the sound of gunfire. It's harsh and jarring and it tends to alarm me.
Suppressors FTW.

The more RPM the better.
As an example, I very much enjoyed attending this event.

Suppressors inhibit both velocity and post surge.

I don't like 7.62 that much. .
"This is the AK-47. Preferred weapon of your enemies. It makes a distinctive sound when fired at you."
From personal experience, I can vouch for that. There was a HUGE difference in the sound made by an AK when compared to the sounds made by M-16's ...many of us carried AK-57's as back-up weapons for use in places where an M-16 would tell the enemy we were in their back yard...

I have 7 guns now. I voted yes...
although, I may take it back...sometimes i'd love to shoot without having to wear ear protection.
