Do you like Lacoste shirts?

They do seem to fit better than my other polo shirts. I also find I get a better response from the ladies when I where them. What is your opinion?

no. Lacoste shirts are really just crappy ordinary fruity polo's. No surprise 90% of the people you see wearing them wear knock offs and you can't tell because they have low quality to begin with.

Don't obfuscate expensive designer clothing with high quality that withstood the test of time (for over 30 years) like that of Diesel or Guess.

Assuming we're talkin' the regular ole' solid golf shirts..................


Waaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day (dating myself) when folks bought me these as a kid, I noticed the Izods always looked horrible after a couple washes.......(100% cotton fiber frizz).........and while 100% cotton is a classic fabric, the textured golf shirts didn't fare well.

Along came "Le Tigre" which went to a 50/50 or 60/40 (can't remember which) and their shirts looked just the same when new..........BUT........looked MUCH BETTER after even several washes. From then on, it was Le Tigre for me.

Nowadays, it's whatever's at Kohl's/Mervyn's.

When I was a kid, thoes shirts would cost like $5. My parents would buy them all the time and I would destroy them, like a kid should.

Now they charge like $75 for them. Total ripoff.

They cost as much, if not a little more that comparable Polo shirts. I have a few Lacoste and a lot of Polos and the Lacoste definately don't have the quality/durability of the Polo shirts.

Ditto Denizli Turkey is world renowned for their cotton products, particularly robes.

Yes, Lacoste is sweet. I used to wear it a lot when I was younger, not anymore. Although I have been thinking about buying something from them again.

I think their quality blows then figure in the over-inflated price that is essentially two strikes against them.

all i have is a lacoste jacket, its really comfortable, easily one of my favorite jackets.

as far as the shirt goes, i don't think i have the build for it. that style of shirt seems to fit those swimmer, long torso body types. they just look funny on me
