Most of it consists of dancy, foreign music with lyrics you don't really need to know to enjoy the song (like Yelle). There are some songs though that just sound great whatever the language, like France Gall singing Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son.

We had to turn our classroom into Germany in middle school. I brought a bunch of Beck's beer logos on stickers as a joke, to put all over soda cans. My teacher didn't find it amusing and tossed them all. My classmates downloaded some German song called "Alkohol" by Herbert G.something and we used it to set the "German" mood in the class. Needless to say, teachers complaints of loud music + him coming back to class = lulz. I love that song.

Yo dude.. Can recommend a few good ones? I've heard Amr Diab, Hisham Abbas, Khaled, la guitarra, alabina and a few others. Anythign else that sounds good? Khaleeji music is cool with me.

OP, I listen to a lot of Indian music ( coz I'm originally Indian ), some Arabic ( since I was brought up in the Middle East ) and then some swedish stuff coz I like it. English stuff bores me after sometime and I couldnt hear it for too long. lol

While trying to learn icelandic we(my wife and I) picked up some icelandic music when we were over there. The problem with it is that my brain keeps trying to convert what they are saying into english.
