Do you look forward to haircuts?

Just curious if anyone else looks forward to getting a haircut. I always do; I feel clean and refreshed after a good haircut. I think it's a "Look good, feel good" , mental type thing.

I can't say I look forward to going as I see it as a hassle kind of like shaving. But, I think there is something to be said about having a clean haircut so I know what you are saying.

yeah, because i get my hippie uncle to cut my hair and he has the best stories. he takes forever to give a haircut, but whatever, hes entertaining

Sometimes. When they do a good job, yes. When they are lazy and don't cut it as short as I told them to, no.

I am a man, I get a haircut only when necessary. It's one of those things I think about only about a day before the event -- like a doctor's appointment.

Wow. I guess I'm a bit of a freak then. I schedule my next haircut after I get my hair cut, before I leave the shop. Roughly every 2.5 weeks or so. Yes; I like my hair short.

No, I view it more as an interuption to my normal daily routine. Funny that when I was in the Navy back in the dark ages I hated having to deal with the haircut regulations and not being able to have long hair. Now I just walk into the barbershop and get what amounts to a standard Navy haircut.

It's funny how sometimes we come to terms with our previous lives...or how they come to terms with us. When I was a young man (and unemployed) I had long hair and no institution or carefully-framed-set-of-rules was going to make me cut it. Until unemployment ran out. So I cut my hair, got a real job and then several real jobs later, fell into my career. For some, it seems the opposite is true. Life is funny, man.

I cut my own hair, so I don't mind it too much, but I hate having to clean up afterwords.

Same here but I usually go about 4-5 weeks. I see the same chick at this salon and she does the washy washy and conditioner thingie. She knows I like it so she takes her time and does a little scalp massage.

I like it afterwards and the fact that I won't need one for another 3-4 weeks.

Other than that, I don't really like to pay for it, or having to go and get it.

Not a fan. Just had my first haircut in six or seven years not too long ago. However, I do shower regularly.

I like how I look afterwards but I hate the process and that they expect a tip. They're cutting your f'n hair that they already get paid for. You're not doing anything special.

i'm the same way. unless they mess up my cut then i'm screwed for a few weeks

I used to. Sports Clips offers the MVP cut with shampoo, massage, and hot towel treatments. Then one day my wife saw the hotties that worked there... now she cuts my hair.

i tend to put it off till my hair becomes a shapeless mess.

I tend to put it off as long as possible.

I got a haricut about two weeks ago. Before that... 2 years? I let it grow out crazy long, then ended up shaving most of it off around january (which I guess counts as a haircut, but not really) and donating it to locks of love. It then took a few months but I had to get a haircut proper (or choose to grow it out again, but man having that much hair was a pain).
