The better question is how do you NOT like pasta? It's tasty, inexpensive, and filling.

You must be talking about jar sauce.. I've had people finish a meal and grab a spoon to finish off my homemade sauce.

Pasta is alright. Enough calories for the prep time*, low cost, efficient to make the pasta itself, plant-based, portable, and reasonably tasty.


* - I don't much care for preparing food, or for the time spent on eating, so I prefer things that have a lot of calories, are easy to eat, and don't take long to make. Spaghetti is a reasonable compromise. At 10 minutes to cook, it is on the longer end of my cooking spectrum, but 1lb lasts a long time. Yes, 10 minutes. I like it squishier than "al dente."
