Do you love to argue?

That spidey vs. batman thread got me into a pretty good debate with a friend of mine. This kinda thing happens all the time. You should have seen the look on my face a couple days ago when i was in the middle of another debate with a diff friend and he said somethign to the order of "that's true according to the laws of physics, but in real life it would happen like that." I think i probably came close to a heart attack. It's all cause i love to argue. Who else is like this?

I love to argue. The problem is, all my new friends at school aren't really into argueing. I miss it (did it all the time in HS).

Yeah, I used to like to argue my point out until I'm able to win the "debate," but now, I'm able to control myself more and to calm situations down. I think I'm friendlier now also.

I hate to argue. It really bothers me when people go to extremes. Disagreement is something else all together. I can disagree with people, but mutually we can still have respect with one another.

I hate to argue about petty things with my girlfriend -- I'd rather walk away.

If it was something I was well informed and felt strongly about - I'd argue until I was blue in the face.

Intelligent debate is cool, but I seldom engage in it.

Altercations with my parents sucks(like if you haven't done it often). Its not about making logic. Its totally one sided and sometimes I get too emotional. I have an altercation with my parents about once a week. Usually over some petty crap like leaving a mess in kitchen, sleeping with my window open and most annoyingly about school crap.

I would never say I "love to argue", but I'm told that I do. One of the main things that irk people about me, is I'll argue something even if I know it's false. Whenever someone puts forth a poor argument, I always challenge it.
