That's because they can still get a cardiovascular workout without the heavy stress on their knees that jogging would produce. Making fun of fat peopel at the gym seems pretty mean spirited.
People who do a million crunches and curls bother me more.
Making fun of anybody is mean spirited....
-- you need to respect your mother more......Fat people and nerds... The two last stereotypes that are socially acceptable to make fun of.
It's certainly not college whores any more... /whistling
Nah, if he were jelly the fatties would have eaten him.u jelly?
And most normal people are on cardio machines but you still see a few fatties from time to time.

Can never use the pool again. At the Y, I see fit people doing the laps. The fatties and older people do the water aerobic classes... They have their own section of the pool and the lap people have another and then another area for the little kids.Yes, I have. I can literally go MONTHS swimming at my gym pool before seeing any talent. It's about 80% old people doing their walking or whatever the hell they do as they slough their old person bits into water.

I notice that no one knows how to circle swim and they all feel like 1 person per lane is the maximum. We used to swim warm-ups for meets with 5-8 people in a lane. (8 is about 2 too many)
I even asked the gym to put up signs teaching people how to circle swim and gave them options that I had found that looked the best and got the runaround, "Yeah, we should put those up. That's a great idea." Still not there.
