A customer came in today. She had changed her mind about wanting us to do work on her computer - work we had already done. I explained that we had already done the work and labor couldn't be refunded.
She still wanted to give me a hard time about getting her money back so I got out the Terms and Conditions sheet she had signed saying she had read the above terms and conditions and agreed to them and I pointed out the underlined section that stated "Labor cannot be returned once the scope of work agreed upon above has been completed."
Her excuse was "Well, I didn't read that."
I make it a point to read everything I sign. It took me a while but I did it for every single mortgage paper I signed
