Oh, Come on, nobody really does that. You spend 3 hours just writing your signature.

When I sold my house on an Indian reservation, I was surprised to find out that I'd agreed to obey all tribal nation laws and such. I wouldn't be surprised if that was valid even though I had no representation. I'm caucasion with no Indian blood.

Yes, Native American tribes do sell deeded land on the reservation. They like money too.

Of course not. It would literally take days to read through everything I signed on my mortgage, for example. I frankly have no damned clue what I signed, it's quite retarded.

That's why I hired a lawyer - to tell me what I was signing. I've got better things to do with my time, and I realize that the vast majority of those documents are exactly the same for every other person in my state - without them, I wasn't getting the house.

I try to read everything, but it just depends on what it is. If it's a house, I will definitely be reading every page.

Hell yes. Everything. Everything, every line.

Accept for EULAs where I click agree.

I read *most* things, but not everything. I sometimes don't read software EULAs -- but do sometimes, depends on what software it is. Things like car warranties, loan documents, rental agreements, etc., I definitely read. I didn't read the terms and conditions of the last repair shop I took my car to -- it was AAA, and I really doubt that they'd have anything in there that could really screw me over long-term.

Regarding your example, I probably wouldn't have read everything either. That said, I generally understand how businesses and standard terms and conditions work, so I really doubt that there's anything in there that would surprise me. The statement you referenced wouldn't surprise me if it was in there -- actually I would probably be surprised if it *wasn't*.

Her excuse was "Well, I didn't read that."

Do you read EULAs?
