Do you read work email on your cell phone?

I'm trying to write a paper on smartphone usage for work email and work-life balance, studying how 24/7 access to work email impacts job satisfaction. If you have two minutes to spare, please help an ATOT old timer out and share your opinion in this google form (link removed). All questions are multiple choice only, in an effort to make it as painless as possible.

Thanks!

can you clarify if you are talking about using a work phone to check work emails or a personal phone to check work emails?

Either (work or personal phone), but with a focus on checking work email off the clock (first thing in the morning, during your commute, at night before going to bed).

UPDATE: Link removed. Got enough data to get this paper going! Thanks a lot, guys!

Took survey.
I have a Blackberry Bold for work but I also use an app on my personal cell phone to access work email. I like my S4 better than the Bold.

But, I am the Emergency Operations Coordinator so I am expected to be available at a moments notice.

I go in cycles. I usually have my work email on my phone but sometimes the office idiots will abuse after hours email and I will delete it. One Friday night I got 27 emails from the morons on the west coast abusing reply all and DLs.

Responded. Still the last question needs a follow-up question which is if stressful are you ok/happy with that? I don't mind that my job is stressful if I go to long without some push/stress it usually means I'm bored at work. I guess I'm just saying stress comes with the territory so no big deal.

Done. For me, being able to triage my email on an immediate basis makes me more productive the next day. If I had to come in each morning and sort through 50 emails from the night before, that would eat up a good chunk of time.

I'm already looking at my phone, deleting work emails just is second nature to what I'm already doing.

Done. For me, being able to reach my work emails on my smart always makes me more organized.

I would, but I don't know how to set up my smart phone to get emails from work.

I used to check work email on my personal cell using OWA...a few months ago, they upgraded our exchange server and restricted email access to VPN connections only. Now only company blackberries can access it and I am not unlucky enough to have one.

I do pretty regularly unless I'm on vacation. Even then I simply turn off notifications and check periodically. Being the only server/network admin in my agency somewhat necessitates me to, at minimum, keep tabs on things whenever possible.

I check my work email on my personal phone. It's just the nature of the business (public accounting). I don't mind it that much since I can respond to clients/coworkers quickly without having to open my work laptop. However, one thing I wish we got was a cellphone reimbursement (even something like $25/mo would be great).
