Never even thought of those and agree that's wonky, but I stand by "sly". The real Geek would never say "ess ell eye", they'd say "Scalable Link Interface" and ignore the look of confusion upon the face of those listening to them!

"Sly" isn't even the correct pronuciation of "SLI" even if it was an actual word... the correct pronunciation would be "slee."
