Don't they, like, train the military? Or is it like Labor-ready, just gather round at 6AM and then get deployed for the day? (Maybe we do need more Mexicans?)
Mostly this, if there's something that 90% of your FNG's know how to do already and the alternative to that something is something 10% of your FNG's know how to do, you go for the 90% even if it costs you a little more upfront, since you'll spend more time/manpower training the 90% on the new thing. More time spent training, less time spend getting shit done.I think it's all about efficiency and and having just one less thing to teach while in basic. I actually wonder if a Humvee would in fact benefit a solider on the battlefield? Perhaps, you can get more traction and control climbing shit and all that lot. But in this current time frame we find ourselves mostly in the Middle East, so it's pretty much a moot point. I mean, it's nothing but a big damn desert.
