Do you still wear a watch?

Ever since cell phones started having those outer screens on them, I have stopped a carrying a watch. Have you stopped wearing a watch?

Yes. I don't carry my cellphone with me, a watch takes up less space, has a cheaper battery, and is easier to use. That, and the campus' new engineering building doesn't have any clocks in it. I'm not entirely sure why. It's possible that they ran out of time to install them.

I think if had to get a watch, I would get a pocket watch. I like not having a clock on my wrist. Makes me less prone to look at it.

I love my skeleton watch. Easier to take out than my cellphone. I feel naked without something there and I'm wearing short sleeves.

CostCo sells Radio-Signal G-Shocks for $30. Great price! I got one for my dad for Christmas.

Yes - and don't think I will be quitting anytime soon either.
There are times when you are in meetings etc. that you need to subtly look at the time - you don't pop the phone out at those instances to look at the time - so I still find it useful.

I started wearing a watch in grammar school (Swatch!) until some time just after law school. At that time the bands on most watches started giving me a rash on my wrist.

Last year, we were going to go on a three week trip overseas (where my mobile phone would not work and, thus, the time would not update) and I knew I would want to know the time, so I started wearing a watch again (different type of band that did not irritate my wrist).

Since then, I wear a watch every day.

(Also, I go into some buildings where mobile phones are not allowed, so having a watch is nice.)

I've got a nice watch that I wear when I dress up.

but for the day-to-day grind, no, no watch... I either use my cellphone or go without (since I don't take my cellphone to work with me anymore). I've got a pretty decent internal clock and can usually estimate with a respectable degree of accuracy how much time has passed over a certain period.

I have a pretty decent internal clock too and can with some accuracy guess about what time it is. I also have a really good time telling device strapped to my wrist giving me incredible accuracy called a watch

I like having a watch on since for me it helps me to visualize the time, my watch tells me the date (which I always forget), and most importantly I have the ability to check the time in subtle manner without pulling out my phone and making it look like I'm checking emails.

Every time I take a leak, I know what time it is.

Plus, my watch is shielded from getting scratched.
