well i personally don't consider someone i'm dating a significant other... you gotta be bf/gf to each other to be considered significant, and even then, it may take a while to use the L-word... i personally say it to my girlfriend every night

I have got some news for you. If you have to grow to love the person you are with it's not going to work out.

To answer your question though, of course I tell her I love her and did so pretty much a couple of months into the relationship, which by the way began about eight years ago and I am twenty-eight.

You know, I must be the one weirdo here, but I've probably said those words ... 4-5 times in the 3 years I've been with my current g/f. I dunno... I used to say it all the time when I was younger (in High School), but, I've just really had a difficult time saying it with my past couple g/fs. as for the I love you .. I've been telling my husband that atleast 4 times a day or so since about our 3 date ... I knew immediately that he was the one for me .. and he told me he loved me on our 3rd date .. so apparently he thought I was it for him to... in my family we tell each other we love you every time we talk or see each other.. so that there is no doubt ever that the people we love know we love them .. its just a thing we do ...
