Now, it's the 6'2 Amazon's in size 0's on Runway's that make me want to vomit.

i don't know the difference between a size 4 and any other size... i don't know women's sizes...

all i know is sexy, and i love curves... and i know that sexy comes in about 2934718947 different forms and shapes. i don't hate skinny women, but i am not a fan of women without curves... and i have seen nice curves on both fatties and skinnies.

Oh. Oops. Slow day, no caffeine yet. I tend to briefly give a bit of background to avoid a full blown story. Married to wife for 6 years, lived with her for 8. Year or so after our marriage we both met and became extremely close to someone who moved in with us and for the past 5 or so have been in a committed 3 person sexual relationship and have all lived together since. It's less exciting than you would think so it's not really worth elaborating on; it's just something that sort of happened and we see no immediate need for anything to change as it's an all-around comfortable and convenient situation.

Precisely what I'm attempting to point out. The anorexic runway models are thin because they don't eat and are unhealthy. I know MANY very attractive slim women who are muscular, fit, and healthy. There are so many more factors than just saying "I hate every woman who wears a 0" because I guarantee I can show you a handful who would make you change your mind - they just aren't Hollywood models.

I think the high-end fashion designing industry has issues similar to inbreeding. Inbreeding can reinforce and even exaggerate abnormal mutations, deformities, flaws, etc. because no outside genetic influence is ever introduced.

I'm willing to bet that high-end fashion designers hardly ever work or really socialize with people outside that fashion/celebrity bubble. So these perceptions of sick-skinny being the attractive look are sorta self-reinforcing, since no outside/healthy perspective is ever introduced.

It doesn't matter really, because their shit only sells in boutiques, or is tailored specifically for certain people and red-carpet celebrities who live in that fashion bubble. Department stores and major name brands just take those high fashion ideas and adapt them for the mass market.

I'm totally talking out my ass here, but it makes sense to me. Anyway, no, size 4 is certainly NOT fat.
