Do you use a secondary Gmail account for storage?

Just signed up for a second gmail account, to email myself personal storage stuff. I have my own internet hosting account, but some day it'll probably go away or i'll switch servers.

Now I can make sure that certain documents and whatnot are available to me forever and wherever. Just a thought.

My real web mail is top secret.

Sort of. I have a second account I use exclusively for a listserv. Since I don't delete from it, you could say in a way I do use it for storage.

OH NOES, I hope the government doesn't get the serial numbers to my electronics and firearms, and my inventory of my Army gear! Oh man, just think what they'll be able to do with the scans of my government issued military ID!

Not really.. my combined accounts will still be way under the 2.5 gig max storage limit. I probably wont even be pushing 100 megs total.

Edit - All my big non-important stuff is backed up on external HD, and twice a year put on DVD's as well. All of this little storage is on my external as well, but usefull to have on the web. If a fire destroys everything, I'll have some pieces of the puzzle still in existance.
