I'll keep flossing.
I use this $39 Oral-B electric toothbrush:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003UKM9CO/
- Night & day difference over a manual toothbrush
- My dentist said I needed to go electric for my gums
- It's like going to the dentist for a cleaning...every day (my teeth are so smooth!)
- My dentist said that the super expensive ones were pretty much the same as the decent budget ones (~$40 Oral-B), so that's what I got
- Refill heads (even knockoffs) are still stupid expensive (but they do last awhile)
Except it references America, and that America no longer recommends flossing. I grabbed the quick article, but the actual research papers should be easy to track down. Belief without proof is religion, and religion is bullshit."Says British Dental Association"

Got an electric one like 4 years ago and never looked back. It is a Philips Sonicare. It just cleans much better and also, the fact that it stays on for 2 minutes then cuts off, means I always brush my teeth for 2 minutes since I always go until it stops. Prior to that when I was doing manual, I wasn't brushing for close to 2 minutes.
My dentist could tell the difference the next time I went in for my 6 month cleaning and asked me if I switched to an electric. So she could tell from the condition of my teeth. She could also tell I brush with my right hand because one side was a bit cleaner than the other.
I didn't go for that model when I got mine so I'm just a peasantI also like how it briefly pauses every 30 seconds so you can get an even brush throughout your whole mouth.
Manual brushing makes you a bit more active in the morning if you don't have time for exercise in your busy mornings.
The dentist suggested that I was brushing to hard with the regular toothbrush, so I switched to electric. I bought 5 packs of Oral-B 3D White Pulsar Battery Toothbrush, 5-pack when CostCo had them on sale for $12.93. They seem to work pretty good, and I throw them away when the battery dies.
Products like these strike me as incredibly irresponsible. I think they should be banned, tbh.
Men aren’t supposed to have vibrators?
We another name for "disposable". Maybe high waste or limited use. Perhaps another thread. No problem with that, as long as they aren't "disposable" vibrators to be tossed out simply because a shitty battery has died.
None of this is actually disposable. Generating more waste--and far, far, far worse types of waste--than previous generations is going in the absolute opposite direction of where we are required to be going as a species that is interested in its own survival.
