I use it to poke fun at apple and jobs. She really hate it when you say jobs was an asshole.

I use it for voice dictation mostly. So I can type long winded responses like this one while sitting on the toilet with my cell phone. Like this.

I dont use it at all, although I do use voice search on the AppleTV. Might be a sign of age...I dont use spotlight either, but instead go to a terminal window and do find.

Siri, play some whatever.
Siri, send someone a message.

Pretty handy really.

Same, use it in the car to quickly get navi directions. I hate typing out addresses.

My wife uses Siri exclusively to set reminders and alarms. She doesn't like it for anything else.

I use Siri for reminders and things like "open Bluetooth" or WiFi, saves a few seconds.

Play songs, directions, text. With HomeKit it will be even better, "Siri, turn on the living room lights."

Honestly, every time I've tried to use Siri I end up getting frustrated because it doesn't get what I said quite right. It ends up being faster to just type things out.

It's kind of funny when the voice activation in my car works better than Apple's multimillion dollar voice recognition software

She just doesn't like my voice it seems, and it's not like I have any sort of heavy accent. Even if I speak slowly and enunciate like a dictionary she gets it wrong every time.

It also doesn't help that the one big thing i'd use it for would be GPS and Siri doesn't work with anything but Apple Maps. I don't need the help of Apple if i'm looking to drive into the nearest lake, thanks.

I've used Siri perhaps three times in the last year ... but only when I am really bored. I will ask Siri really stupid questions and enjoy the answers. My wife never knew Siri existed on my mini until I used it. She had quite the chuckle with some of the answers ...

Not often, but I have put the google app in my dock (and love google now on my motoX). When I want a giggle (boots and cats, cats and boots) I ask siri, when I want to get stuff done I use google (deciding to stream a movie over 3G - ask what is 720kpbs in MB per hour).

Unless your Settings is ten pages away from your main home screen, there's no way that saves a few seconds, if anything it would take a few more to do it via Siri.

My number one use is initiating speakerphone calls while in the car.

I'll use it when quickly trying to call/facetime someone.

It's nice just pulling out the phone and quickly saying "facetime wife" versus going into contacts, selecting facetime, and fumbling with that.
