The German government doesn't permit me to have one, but if I did, I sure as hell wouldn't use it for personal purchases.

the corporate card is secured by the company on the merit's of its credit worthiness and paid by the company. You have no right to use it for personal use.

Some folks do it because their personal card may be to the limit.

That's a very good reason not to do it. Having debt that you can't pay off on a company card seems like a good way to get fired.
