Do you wear a seatbelt?

After being thrown from a roll over accident after falling asleep at the wheel at highway speeds (+60mph) 23 years ago, I never fail to wear my seatbelt. I figure I had only one do-over

only time i ever didnt want to was when i was a little kid in the passenger seat. it would cut into my neck.
i cant really understand not wanting to wear one. and i know there are some people who feel it shouldnt be law because it invades freedom. intellectually, i can understand the argument but i just dont see it as an issue for me personally.

Natural Selection disapproves of seatbelt laws. If you're stupid enough to not wear your seatbelt, you deserve whatever you get. I buckle up every time I'm in the car, even if I'm just drivin 15-20mph no further than one block.

i knew some people who got in an accident where the driver and passenger who were wearing seatbelts died and their passenger in the back who wasnt wearing one was ejected from the vehicle and lived.

doesnt mean i dont wear them now though. i didnt wear them though until the law made it so and even then for awhile i didnt because my dad's car was a '65 galaxy and it didnt have seatbelts.

99.9% of the time.

the only time I don't is if I'm moving my car a couple feet early in the morning (sometimes when I get home from work at midnight, I'll park illegally outside my apartment and then move my car around 5 am when one of my neighbors goes to work) or if I'm in the back seat.

Agreed - I have gotten into arguments with people about this too. If I am driving, you better put the seatbelt on - otherwise the car is not moving. I still have no idea why people have to dumbasses and think that they are god and an accident will not happen to them.

I live in Southern California and I was watching game six of Cleveland vs. Detriot on some local Detriot channel (via satellite). A click it or ticket commercial aired and it messaged that a ticket will cost a violator $60.

My first reaction along with my friend's was WTF! Only $60?!?!

It is much more expensive in California, and of course I always wear my seat belt.
