Do you wear a watch?

I've been watching this thread since July. Lots of nice watches there but I can't remember the last time I had a watch. Now, with two phones in my pocket and electronic devices everywhere, I see no point having one.

yep, same watch i bought from walmart 20 years ago for 10$. replaced the band a few times and the battery a few times.

without it, i feel like my wrist is going to be cut. it's a weird feeling.

I'll be the first to admit that my Omega Speedmaster is actually pretty bad at keeping time. I don't wear it much on the weekends so I have to wind and set it sometime Monday morning when I finally realize it's got completely the wrong time. And it loses a couple of seconds a day anyways.

What it is, however, is one more little detail about my appearance and personal style that brings me pleasure. I like the minimal, elegant style of the watch, and how only people who know about such things will know it's anything more than your average $50 wristwatch. It's not always about utility.

If I'm out of the house I do. Wallet, watch, phone, folding knife, keys. I need one at work and have learned to make a habit of it even tho I'm not a fan of jewellery.

I own a watch, but very rarely rare it.

it stays in a drawer except for the rare occasions that I have to dress up. otherwise, I really hate having anything constrictive around my wrists; don't even like wearing jackets with elastic wrist cuffs.

Yeah, reaching in my pocket to grab my phone and press the button to turn the screen on just to find out what time it is is so much easier than looking at a watch.

I far prefer my watch than pulling my phone out of my pocket each time I want to see the time. I have a Seiko Coutura, nothing fancy but a decent watch that tells the time just fine.

I got a moto360 recently, kind of fun... finding it useful while driving, and actually looking at the time. No more need to pull my phone out for a lame text or email 8).

I also have a casio mudman for when I am out n about, hiking, in the woods, whatever.

but to answer the question: I wear a Tag Link if I'm getting dressed up, but 98% of the time I just use my iPhone

I own a bunch of watch's including several Seiko's and a really nice Citizen Eco-drive but the only one I wear on a regular basis is my Casio G-Shock. (solar recharge & automatic updates)

Funny thing is half the time I pull my phone out to check the time even when I'm wearing it!

Yep...I've worn a wrist watch for at least 50 years...even though I always have my phone with me when I'm out...I still wear a watch.

I wear a watch because I've always worn one. I'm used to them. I was in the Army, too. Really can't pull your phone out to check the time or to time things in the field.
