Do you wear shoes around in the house

I take them off as soon as i get in.I have very wide feet,so find most trainers/shoes etc uncomfortable.

Shoes are off as soon as I get in. Had an Asian friend growing up, and discovered it was socially acceptable to not wear shoes in the house, which was my preference anyway.

No. Only time I might is if I was outside and need something real quick in the house, if I'm too lazy to take them off and they are decently clean, I won't.

If anything it always feels good to take off my shoes as soon as I get in after having them on for long. Even at work I have slippers that I get into as soon as I get to my desk. Thankfully my job is lenient about that. Even the slippers come off at times. Otherwise my feet get too hot.

Leave them on most of the time as I'm usually in and out the door several times over the course of the evening. It's easier to leave them on than to take them off and put them back on half an hour later when I want to go back outside.

All the shoes I regularly wear aside from boots just slip on. Takes a second to put them on.

Generally... I don't take them off immediately at the door like Asian cultures, but I take them off pretty soon, like after I get upstairs to the bedroom or at my computer desk.

I take mine off just about immediately and slip into some super comfy slippers. It's 100% of the time immediately when I walk in when it's nasty or my shoes are likely dirty or super wet, but if it's dry out and my shoes are clean I might walk in, dote my dog with love as she excitedly greets me, and then walk into kitchen and feed her. Then I'll return to the door and take off my shoes. Unless I know I'm going in and out right away then I might not take them off, but I'm not bothered by a few seconds to put on shoes (especially in summer where I just slip on my shoes. In the winter it's basically always at the door no matter what type of shoe or boot I'm wearing, because of all the damn salt and/or slush.

I only take them off because my feet get hot and it's pretty darn uncomfortable to wear them around when lounging. instead I wear sandals or flip flops. Doesn't matter since the floor is going to get dirty no matter what. Especially with 2 dogs and a cat lurking around and the weekend 2 yr old. I prefer to wear shorts and a tank top with flip flops but usually once i'm inside, I don't have a reason to go back out unless i'm working on a project.

I voted yes but that doesnt convey just how dirty i am. I mostly go barefoot at home (no socks) but just as easily put my shoes on the furniture, and i never wash my hands.

It's because i have a unique superpower called white blood cells which makes me immune to common bacteria.

There needs to be a subset to this question. What type of flooring do you have? We have all hardwood and stone flooring. Shoes stay on until I feel like taking them off. Socks stay on all the time. I used to be able to go barefoot or wear sandals, but as I got older I found that my feet dry out and crack. Then I wear bandaids and socks.

Sandals (year around wear here) come off right inside the door. The servants lay a bed of rose petals for me to walk on as I move about the estate.
