thats me man...I need motivation like that to work out. I can't just sit there and repeatedly lift something 20 times.
I like sports and all, but I don't have the skills to be good at them. Once you get to like age 20 and you still play basketball like an elementary school kid, you lose that motivation. Plus its just not economical to have a "fun workout". My idea of a fun workout would involve hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, etc. Unfortunately I'm not really in a position to do that stuff 3-4 times a week.
It sucks that our society is structured in a way that we've been forced to replace real activities like rowing an actual boat in a real river to those pathetic rowing machines. Or "pretending" to ski with a damn Nordik track.
