What is P&N thoughts on doctors open carrying in their offices?
I doubt most doctors feel the need to open carry, but if one wanted to, is there even a possible argument against it? The world view of some of you is insane.
I get the feeling alot of you grew up in highly populated, urban areas. You think of guns as things that kill people, probably because you live in such a backwards gun culture. You've probably never done a single thing to prevent gun violence or work to change the culture, and are probably content to yell at the government to do something about it. However that's beside the point. The point is that you're ignorant of guns. I know the theory behind Webern's serialization, but I don't truly understand it. I've never used it, I don't really want to use it, I think it sounds terrible. I'm not wholly ignorant upon the subject, but in some way, I am ignorant, and moreover, I'm not really sure I want to inform myself upon the subject. Those are the thoughts of many gun control people. And honestly, that's fine. I don't care that your father never taught you to hunt, that you've never spent 10 hours in the wilderness alone with nature and a gun, passing up deer after deer because they're just so royal and majestic, that you've never tracked coyotes or hogs, that you've never been scared for your life at times. The power to hurt and kill is such a primal thing. We all have it, and guns only magnify it.
The difference between my thoughts on Webern and your thoughts on guns, aside from the fact that they're totally different and incomparable things, is that I don't care what anyone else does with Webern. You want to ban all these guns. And look, a gun ban can definitely work. Just make sure you think it through before you say you want it.
