I would be suspicious about counterfeits unless there was sufficient evidence otherwise.

The CM LED is known for quiet but doesn't push much air (see the connection?) - I'd use it in a low restriction application like intake or exhaust. I generally use black ball-bearing fans on my CPUs. I'd consider a CM rifled bearing 120mm fan (these are like Panaflos, but aren't 38mm thick).

Thanks for the reply Zepper.
Would you say this is a better fan to get?
Cooler Master Silent LED Case Fan - 120mm
I want to use 1 as a case fan(Intake) and one with a Thermalright Ultima-90 Aluminium CPU Cooler .
Thanks for the help.

The Coolermaster in some ways are deceptive. They may not be included in silentpcreview articles (which means they have been rejected by them) but when you put them on a fan controller, they're pretty whisper quiet. At least I find but they're not as silent as the 120mm Scythe fan that came with my Scythe Ninja. I don't know why though but the 80mm Scythe fan that came with my Mini Ninja made a buzzing sound which I didn't like.

Deceptive in what way?
Also you need to back up uour assertion that SPCR has rejected the Cooler Master Fans....
No site can test all the fans or PSU`s or even heatsinks that are on the market...
Just because a site doesn`t test a given product has no bearing on the quality of that product!!
Also SPCR is the same company that will rate a heatsink good or bad solely on the noise. even if the temps are not good!
So I think it`s very decieving on your part to use SPCR solely as the ONLY authority on a subject!!
